Hey everyone!!
I am just so excited to share with you a secret I have been keeping. A few amazing ladies and I are bringing you a new monthly series called… BOOKS {BLOGGERS} LOVE!!
As teachers you know we ALL love books! These fabulous bloggers will be bringing you our favorite read alouds each month!!! Sometimes they will be themed, sometimes they will have freebies to go with them….but here is the best part…are you ready? EVERY month you have the chance to WIN 4 out of the 12 books!! whatttt?! YES! amazing…
This month we are talking about our favorite books for August! Yes it is almost back to school already! ahh!
A book I am so excited to read with my 3rd graders the first week is “What If Everybody Did That” by Ellen Javernick.
This book is a short and sweet (and cute!) read aloud. It talks about small things we do that we don't think is that big of a deal…but..what if EVERYONE did those things? I plan on relating it to the choices we make at school! We will talk about types of choices we wouldn't want everyone to make, as well as some choices that would actually benefit us if everyone did them!
I will be using this quick sheet to get my kids thinking and sharing with each other in class! I will have them use the left side to write and illustrate about a situation we would NOT want everyone to do at school. The right will be a positive choice and what the impact of that would be!
Grab it HERE!
This month you have the chance to win my book as well as the book from Mrs. D's Corner, Terrific Teaching and Learning, and Peppy Zesty Teacherista!
Enter to win those 4 books for your own classroom here!!
If you don't win you can still buy this book on Amazon!!
Have fun hopping around to read about the other books from these fantastic teachers!! 🙂

I read this book every year! After reading it, I use the title as a friendly reminder when needed. My students smile and imagine the scene whenever I use it. The students start using the line too.
I love your writing template to inspire students to create TWO ideas to go with the book. Thanks!
